Welcome To New Members

The Longest Thread Ever (or LTE) was created as a fun thread, but grew to be a popular meeting place where people could get to know each other. In fact, the post that started the LTE reads, "I'm bored. Let's start the longest thread ever"!

It is now the 'official' place where new members say their hellos. It'd be a big mess if every new member started threads to say hi, and introduce himself/herself, wouldnt it?
