Once you have created your member gallery via the link
Create Gallery, you have to be subscribed to it before you can
upload to it. It must also be marked as "open for upload" in the Gallery
Manager. Here's how to subscribe.
1. Click this url:
Member
Galleries
2. Click the "Sort By" drop-down menu and choose "Member Name"
3. Scroll to the bottom of the list and go to the second page. This will
give you an url like this:
http://www.spymac.com/gallery/index.php?display=member&orderby=nickname&c=1
4. Replace the "1" at the end with any number that you think your
username will be near. That is the page number. There are around 2225
pages. It's a trial and error procedure.
5. When you find your name, click on your gallery title. You will be
taken there.
6. Click the subscribe button near the top of the page.
To add pictures, either click the "Add Picture" button in any forum, or
click the
Add Picture link from the Tools page.
Browse to the picture, enter a title and description and from the "Add
to" drop-down box, make sure you select your own member gallery.
Otherwise it'll go into your suitcase by default. Your suitcase is where
your pictures get stored. Images in your gallery are kind of linked to
the images in your suitcase. So if you want images to show up in your
gallery, you must select it while uploading.
Lastly, check the box that says that you have read and agree to the TOS
and then click "Submit."
If there are no errors, you will be taken to the Gallery main page. To
view your images, use the drop-down menu to go to either your Suitcase
or to your personal gallery.
Note: If you are a new member with
posts less than 51, your pictures will have to be approved by a Gallery
Moderator before it appears in the Galleries. So have patience, instead
of uploading multiple times.
Tip: While in the galleries, you'll
notice a set of buttons below each picture. "Collect" is an
option where you like a picture someone uploaded and want to add it to
your collection. A link to the image will be placed in your Collections
list. "Send" lets you send that picture as a Spymac picture
postcard to someone.
